For the fourth time in the last five games, the men’s basketball team found themselves locked in a battle that would go down to the wire and be decided by single digits. This time around it was on the road against Seward County and the Saints snagged the 68-61 win.

The baseball season is on the horizon and just around the corner for the Dodge City Conquistadors and the team heads into the 2022 season under new guidance. After a 21-30 record last year and just an 8-24 mark in the Jayhawk Conference the Conquistador baseball program made a change at head coach as Brett Doe has taken over the program.

For the fourth straight game, the Dodge City women’s basketball team had a contest that finished with late possessions deciding the game and the Conquistadors saw Seward County steal the contest with a three-pointer with .8 seconds left in the contest for a 63-60 final.

The start of the season is just around the corner for the Dodge City softball team as they are set to open the 2022 season on Feb. 8 on the road at Lamar and will do so preseason picked to finish seventh in the KJCCC West.
