Hopefully last week’s loss to Garden City can serve as a wakeup call to the Red Demons boys wrestling team. Its latest matchup was a good indication of getting back on the right track. The Red Demons came out firing against a much improved Hays team then years prior.
The Dodge City girls wrestling team keeps rolling. The Lady Demons improved to 2-0 in WAC with a 47-6 victory over the Hays Indians. The lone loss came at 109 pounds with No. 1 ranked Sarah Zimmerman (Hays) securing a fall over No. 4 ranked Ashley Alonso (DC).
The Dodge City Lady Demons wrestling went to Hays and took care of business. The Lady Demons l have not wrestled an event with the full varsity line-up but show they can rise to the challenge.
Heartbreak for the Dodge City Lady Demons as they lost 49-47 to Liberal recently. The Lady Demons fall to 8-2 over all, 0-1 in WAC play.
