DCRP set to open 2025 Season with the Kubota High Limit Racing Series

For the first time since 2020, a National 410 winged sprint car series is coming back to Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.Earlier Monday afternoon the Kubota High Limit Racing owned by 5-time World of Outlaw champion Brad Sweet and NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson, announced the full 2025 touring schedule, with Dodge City getting its chance yet again with 410 sprint cars on April 5, 2025.Heading into just its second full time year as a national touring series, the Kubota High Limit Racing Series has drawn massive amounts of attention in the last few years.

Women’s basketball cruises in season opener against Western Texas

It was a hot start to the season for the Dodge City women’s basketball team as they came out firing on all cylinders on the way to a season-opening 99-55 win over Western Texas.The win moves the Conquistadors to 1-0 to start the season and is the sixth straight season-opening win with Head Coach, Landon Steele 4-0 in season openers at Dodge City.After starting the contest 5-5 the Conqs went on a 13-0 run to take control early leading 18-6 and would not look back owning a 29-8 lead after the first quarter.

Conqs perform strong at Ranger Rodeo

The Dodge City rodeo team traveled to Oklahoma for the third time in the fall season to wrap up the fall season competing at the Ranger Rodeo hosted by Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma.A pair of Conquistadors put together strong performances to cap the fall season as Tavi Ford and Chestin Rohman had great showings.

Football’s comeback falls short on road versus Coffeyville

Another matchup against a top-tier opponent loomed ahead for the Dodge City football team as they hit the road to take on #13 Coffeyville in a top KJCCCC battle and a battle it was to the wire as the Conquistadors late field goal attempt at the end of the game would be blocked leading to a tough 13-12 loss.The comeback came up short for the Conqs sending them to 6-3 on the season and 3-2 in KJCCC with just one game remaining this season, next week against #10 Butler on the road.After a short drive by Coffeyville to open the contest the Conqs would move the ball into Red Raven territory on their first drive but stall out just over the 50-yard line and turn the ball over on downs.

Women’s soccer pushes Hutchinson in first round of playoffs in double overtime loss

Dodge City women’s soccer team has battled the top teams in the Jayhawk Conference all season and the first round of the playoffs was no different as the Conquistadors took on #14 Hutchinson on the road and would push the Blue Dragons to a double overtime decision.The Conqs and Blue Dragons were scoreless after the first 90 minutes and then 10 minutes forcing a second overtime where Hutchinson netted the game-winning goal in the 101st minute.
