Dodge City women’s soccer had their ninth match this season against a ranked opponent as they continued KJCCC action taking on #11 Butler on the road in El Dorado.

For the second time this year, a Dodge City men’s soccer player has earned national recognition as Geovanni De Luna was selected as NJCAA Division I “Goalkeeper of the Week.”The Conquistadors picked up a big road non-conference win last week with a 3-1 decision over Western Texas and picked up a point in conference play with a scoreless tie against Seward County.De Luna was critical in the tie with Seward County and was also stout against Western Texas last week.

Dodge City men’s soccer picked up a point in KJCCC play in a scoreless draw with Seward County and earned a strong 3-1 win on the road in non-conference play last week against Western Texas.The Conquistadors performances last earned a pair of Conqs KJCCC “Player of the Week” honors as Theo Hoang was named the KJCCC Division I “Player of the Week” and Geovanni De Luna was selected as the KJCCC DI “Goalkeeper of the Week.”Hoang had an outburst of goals with a hat trick in the 3-1 win over Western Texas on the road netting all three goals in the first half of the contest.
