Women’s golf ranked 12th in first NJCAA DI Poll by Scoreboard by Clippd
Dodge City women’s golf has wrapped up the fall season and registered three Top three finishes for the fall competing against some strong competition across multiple levels.The first NJCAA Division I rankings have been released from Scoreboard by Clippd and the Conquistadors check in at #12 in the first rankings.The fall season opened for the Conqs with a second-place team finish at the Southwestern Christian Invitational.
Volleyball struggles on the road in loss to Butler
Dodge City volleyball hit the road after playing at home four of the last five matches and traveled to El Dorado to take on Butler and the Grizzlies would get the better of the Conquistadors in four sets.The Conqs dropped the first set but responded by winning the second set to even the match but fell in the third and fourth sets to suffer their third conference loss of the season (25-15, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15).
Men’s soccer ties Seward Co. in a defensive battle
Dodge City men’s soccer team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule for 2024 by breaking up a three-match losing streak with a scoreless tie against Seward County.The tie moves the Conquistadors to 4-9-2 on the season and 3-6-2 in KJCCC action.
Late goal in 87th minute secures victory for women’s soccer over Seward Co.
Dodge City women’s soccer snapped a seven-match winless streak in the final home match of the regular season as they got another late goal to secure a 2-1 win over Seward County.The win moves the Conquistadors to 4-8-3 on the season and 4-7-3 in the KJCCC with just two matches remaining on the season both on the road.While Seward County had control of possession early and fired off some early shot opportunities the Conqs defense would keep the Saints off the scoreboard and in the 11th minute the Conqs broke through.
