Dodge City men’s soccer got the second half of the KJCCC slate of games underway as they traveled to Great Bend to take on Barton and despite tallying the first goal of the game the Conquistadors suffered a 3-1 loss on the road.The loss sends the Conqs to 3-6 on the season and 3-4 in KJCCC action.After a battle to open KJCCC play earlier in the season in Dodge City the Conqs knew the second go-around against Barton would be a tough contest and it proved to be that.

Back home and back in the win column for Dodge City volleyball as they had their most dominating performance of the season in a straight-set sweep of Seward County.The Conquistadors picked up the win 25-11, 25-15, 25-6 in straight sets over the Saints of Seward County to improve to 14-10 on the season and 5-2 in KJCCC action.
Call’em the comeback kids, the Dodge City football team came back from a 21-point deficit to earn the team’s third win of the season beating Iowa Central 25-24 at home with the game-winning score coming with 1:02 left in the contest.The win for the Conquistadors moves them to 3-2 on the season while giving the Conqs a 5-4 edge over Iowa Central in the all-time series.
