Dodge City women’s soccer wrapped up the first round of KJCCC play as they hosted Coffeyville and despite an early goal would settle for a 1-1 tie against the Red Ravens.The tie for the Conquistadors moves them to 3-4-2 on the season and 3-3-2 in KJCCC action but snaps a two-match win streak in the series against Coffeyville.It didn’t take long for the Conqs to manufacture some early opportunities as shots came early.

Men’s soccer struggles in loss to Coffeyville

After a week off the Dodge City men’s soccer team was back in action to wrap up the first round of KJCCC action this season as they hosted Coffeyville, and the Conquistadors would suffer a tough loss at home falling 5-1 to the Red Ravens.The loss moves the Conqs to 3-5 on the season and 3-3 in KJCCC action snapping a two-match win streak on the season and in the series with Coffeyville.The match opened with a bang as the Conqs snagged the early advantage just over two minutes into the contest as Musashi Tanaka from 20+ yards out tallied a goal on a pass from Theo Hoang giving the Conqs a 1-0 lead.

Top 20 finishes recorded by trio of men’s golfers at Central Plains Invitational

Three Dodge City men’s golfers competed at the Central Plains Invitational in Salina to continue the fall season for the Conquistadors, and they would all record Top 20 finishes at the tournament.The trio of Chutithep Rungprajchim, Knowlyn Egan, and Colby Hays each competed at Salina Country Club for the Central Plains Invitational posting seventh, tied for ninth, and 16th place finishes.Rungprajchim had a three-round score of 213 (+3) for the tournament to finish in seventh place.
