This concept design shows the plans approved for turning Central Avenue from Spruce Street to Comanche Street into a two-way traffic flow for the first time since 1971. According to Director of Engineering Ray Slattery, the concept shows the parking lanes outside the driving lanes. The benches and brick infill at the intersections will not be installed however.
