On Saturday, Jan. 25, the Dodge City Community College (DC3) Rodeo Team displayed their skills at the Western State Bank Expo Center as part of the 2025 DC3 Rodeo Showcase. Also featuring student-athletes from Garden City Community College and Pratt Community College, the event included six timed events: barrel racing, goat tying, breakaway roping, team roping, tie-down roping, and steer wrestling. In addition, DC3 music student Zienna Kaiser, freshman, Loveland, Colo.; performed the national anthem for the audience, and rodeo athletes, Chestin Rohman, freshman, Bailey, Colo.; and Ainsley Carter, sophomore, Belen, N.M.; served as rodeo announcers.
