A total of 32 students, faculty and staff, from the Dodge City Community College-Arizona (DC3-Arizona) flight instructor program, participated in their first-ever Community Service Day on April 17. Beginning at the DC3-Arizona teaching location, in Chandler, Ariz., with free T-shirts, games, and purple donuts, the participants then carpooled to the Midwest Food Bank, in Gilbert, Ariz. There, the DC3-Arizona volunteers received instructions for their task, which was to assemble nearly 5,000 hygiene kits for those in need.[PHOTO BY DC3-Arizona]
