As a part of the City of Dodge City’s 2024 Arbor Day celebration, a tree-planting ceremony took place on the Dodge City Community College (DC3) campus to honor the legacy of the late Floris Jean Hampton. Hampton, a longtime DC3 Board of Trustees member and a Dodge City community champion, passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 93.[PHOTO BY Lance Ziesch/DC3]
