HUTCHINSON – Katherine Anita Espinosa Woolwine, 55, died November 29, 2021 at her home in Hutchinson. She was born on November 20, 1966 at Richard, Virginia the daughter of Alexander Espinosa and Peggy (Moncrief) Heath.
Growing up, Kathy moved around to many places with her family while her dad was in the Air Force. They eventually settled in Dodge City, where she graduated from Dodge City High School. After high school, Kathy worked as the kitchen manager at the country club, owned her own restaurant, and had spent the last nine years working as the dispatcher for Titus Trucking in Hutchinson.
Kathy enjoyed cooking and spending time with her friends. She was a very happy and friendly person.
She is survived by her father, Alexander Espinosa of Dodge City; and brother, Paul Espinosa and wife Jahna of Lawrence. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Heath; and her younger sister, Rachel Espinosa.
Memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.
