Maxine Carlin, 92, died June 29, 2013 at Hill Top House, Bucklin KS. She was born September 16, 1920 in Bucklin to Sherman W.
and Cora A. (Daniel) Neely.
She graduated from Bucklin High School in 1938 and then attended cosmetology school in Hutchinson. She operated beauty salons
in Bucklin and Ford. She completed an Associates Degree from Dodge City Community College in 1977. She had served as a pianist
for the Bucklin United Methodist Church and Bucklin Lions Club for many years.
On May 29, 1940 she married Kenneth Carlin at Bucklin. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons: Richard of Bucklin and Roger and wife Terri of Iola; 2 daughters: Diana Hoover and husband Joe
of Lewis and Dixie Neill and husband of Earle of Cloudcroft, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Earl and Ray Neely.
Graveside Services and Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Bucklin Cemetery officiated by
Rev. Rick Jones. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.
