Michael “Mike” D. Myers

CONWAY, ARKANSAS – Michael “Mike” D. Myers, 67, passed away in Conway Arkansas on Sunday April 24th 2022. Mike was born to Douglas and Florine “Flo” B. Myers on June 13th 1954 in Dodge City, Kansas.

Mike enjoyed fishing, shooting, reading, growing plants, and the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was funny and loved telling jokes even may have had a prank or two up his sleeve. He definitely could make you laugh. He loved his siblings and was a great fun uncle and loved his nieces and nephews very much. He adored his wife, daughter, and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed everything his grandkids did even from afar. Mike was also excited about being a great grandfather in August for the first time. He was best guy all around!!

Mike grew up in Dodge City and graduated Dodge City High School in 1972. Mike work construction and bartended at Muddy Waters from the ’80s to the early ’90s. Mike later went on to work for Larned State Prison as a guard for a couple years before moving to Missouri in 2005. Where he later retired. Mike married Teresa “TR” Myers September 1st 2007 in Sparta Missouri. Mike resided in Sparta Missouri until 2014 and relocated to Greenbrier Arkansas where he has resided with his wife until his passing.

Survivors include: wife TR Myers, Greenbrier, Arkansas; one daughter Jessica

Rodriguez and husband Joe, Dodge City, Kansas; two brothers, Pete Myers and wife Toni and William “Billy” Myers and wife Tami, both Dodge City, Kansas; one sister, Susan Turner, Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Elexa Alejandro and Xavyer Rodriguez Dodge City, Kansas; six nieces and nephews Andrew, Eric, Stephanie, Tanya, Amanda, and Wendy; several Great Nieces and Nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Florine in January 2013; father, in May 1999; and brother, Timothy June 1952.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
