DODGE CITY- Michelle Lynn Garcia, 51, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 at her home in Dodge City, Kansas.

She was born on November 8, 1970 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Janie Lou (Goans) Innis. Shelly was a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Holiness, Dodge City. She worked as a housekeeper for various different hotels as well as privately. She also worked at Ft. Dodge Kansas Soldier’s Home. She enjoyed knitting, telling stories, going out with her friends, feed her squirrels, and being outside. She was always ready to drive anywhere you wanted to go. She was an avid bear collector. She loved her family and enjoyed anytime they had family get togethers and she got to see and visit with everyone.

On January 27, 1999 she married Bernardo Garcia Garibo at Dodge City, Kansas,mily suggests mem he survives. Survivors also include: her daughter, Jazmine Garcia, Dodge City; her father, Harold Innis, Dodge City; brother, Allan Eugene Innis and wife Jill, Garden City; sister, Lisa Jean Prado and husband Gabriel, Dodge City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.

Memorial service will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with Rev. Juan Espinoza officiating. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may sign the register book Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel.
