On May 26, 1968, Dodge City Community College (DC3) Board of Trustees Vice Chairman, Lee Braddock, of Dodge City, digs the first shovelful of dirt at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus at 2501 N. 14th Ave. Braddock was the first of 16 people who wielded the ceremonial shovel at the ceremony.
