Long-ago date wants to give belated feedback

Dear Amy: I dated “C” for only a month in 2020. It was obviously not long term. I was the one who broke it off. I have not contacted him since. Recently, I logged onto Facebook for the first time in a long time, and I noticed that he has been messaging me over the course of the last two years - and as recently as last week (which is odd since he has my phone number).

DCCC: Women’s basketball routes Northwest Kansas Tech for 8th win

Dodge City women’s basketball returned to the win column on Wednesday as they roped an 86-40 win over Northwest Kansas Tech. The win moves the Conquistadors to 8-2 on the season and 3-1 in KJCCC action, while making it ninestraight wins at home (dating back to last season) and a five-game win streak over the Mavericks of Northwest Kansas Tech in the series.

LIFT awarded grant

Representative members of LIFT Minneola were all smiles as they gratefully accepted a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas. Lift Minneola is a locally formed organization focused on enhancing the quality of life in Minneola.

DCCC: Men’s basketball makes it 8 straight wins with victory over Northwest Kansas Tech

Dodge City men’s basketball made it eight-straight wins on the season as they lassoed an 86-72 win over Northwest Kansas Tech. The win moves the Conquistadors to 8-1 on the season and 4-0 in KJCCC action, while stretching out multiple win streaks as the Conqs have won eight-straight on the season, six-straight in the series against the Mavericks, and the program has now won 20 straight games at home.
