Cimarron – Ronald Dean Conine, 71, passed away December 2, 2022 at the Shepherd’s Center, Cimarron, KS.

He was born June 29, 1951 in Garden City, Kansas; the son of Jack C. and Elsie Mildred Young Conine. A resident of Cimarron since 1983, he was a Scale Technician for Hammel Scale Company.

He was of the Christian Faith; and was a member of the V.F.W, Dodge City, Kansas. On September 14, 1975 he married Peggy Dawn Halling; she survives.

Other survivors include; three daughters, Shawna Leigh (Jerry) King, Bonner Springs, KS, Tina Marie Marquez, Ingalls, and Marti Jo (Paul) Beatty, Pittsburg, PA; a sister, Barbara (Randy) Slagle, Ness City; four grandchildren, Jace Keegan Marquez, Taylor Paige King, Rylee Danielle King, and Ryker Conine Beatty and two sister-in-laws, Lynn Conine and Janis Conine.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, two brothers, Jacky Conine and Edward Conine, a sister, Irene Cline and a grandson, Ryder Conine Beatty. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with David Johnson presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery with military graveside rites presented by the United States Army and the 8th District American Legion Honor Guard.
