The Dodge City Red Demons golf team has high expectations this year and this team is led by senior Cooper Scheck. Scheck won two tournaments last year, including the regional.
Bucklin baseball brings back two starting pitchers in Nate Bowman (senior) and Scott Price (senior). Bowman pitched 49.2 innings last year and faced 214 batters and struck out 92 of them.
The Bucklin Red Aces softball returns 7 of 9 starters from last year’s team and Amy Fleener is back as head coach. Last year they went 16-7 and were the Regional Runner-Ups, losing to Spearville 2-3. They expect to compete for a Regional Championship again this Spring.
The Bucklin Red Aces track team is looking to add more medals to their historic program this season. The program is led by Trever Powell.

More than a few parents in Dodge City are unhappy their children must wait in the cold morning air for tardy school busses. JaCobi Brown, mother of two Ross Elementary School students, said school buses are supposed to pick up her son at 6:52 a.m.
