2nd Avenue Railroad Crossing Repair

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 16, the railroad crossing at South 2nd Ave. and Sycamore Street will be closed for repairs. A temporary detour will be set-up from the intersection of S. 2nd Ave. and Sycamore St. to the intersection of S. 2nd Ave. and Market St. via Minneola Rd. This rail is owned and maintained by Boot Hill & Western Railway. The anticipated completion date is Friday, Nov. 18.

DCCC: Women’s basketball routes Midland on the road

Dodge City women’s basketball made it a 2-0 trip to Texas as they dispatched Midland on Saturday in their final game at the Midland College Classic winning 69-51. The win moves the Conqs to 4-1 on the season with four of the five games being on the road or neutral site contests thus far this season.

DCHS Soccer: 2022 WAC All-Conference Team

Several players on the Dodge City High School boys soccer won some well-earned awards at the end of the season. Six players earned recognition for their play this fall from Western Athletic Conference coaches, when the league released its all-conference teams and postseason honors.
