Boys soccer advances to Final Four 6A State tournament
As the Dodge City High School boys soccer team walked into Memorial Stadium Tuesday evening their goal was to return to the Final Four 6A state soccer playoffs. Thanks to an outstanding team effort the Red Demons advanced to the Class 6A Final Four tournament with a 4-0 victory over a very talented Lawrence Free State team.
HorseThief Reservoir wins $300k tourism grant
Kansas Tourism, in partnership with the Patterson Family Foundation, recently awarded HorseThief Reservoir $300,000 to enhance its growing tourism industry. The Jetmore camping and recreation destination was one of only eight tourism projects across the state to receive Tourism Attraction Sub-grants (TASK) for Kansas from a $2 million pot.
