As the City of Dodge City embarks on a downtown revitalization program Yi Dai has accepted the challenge of revitalizing the former Dodge City Globe newsroom. The three-story brick building located in the downtown historic district of Dodge City encompasses 36,000 square feet, two vaults and a functioning freight elevator.

4 cups flour 1 cup cocoa powder 2 teaspoons baking soda pinch of salt 2 eggs 2 cups white sugar 1 cup shortening 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup sour milk (2 tablespoons vinegar added to sweet milk to make a cup) 1 cup hot water Cream filling: 1 3/4 cups butter at room temperature 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 10–14 ounces marshmallow crème Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; in a separate bowl, cream eggs, sugar, shortening and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients alternately with sour milk to creamed mixture, then add hot water last.
Dodge City men’s golf had the opportunity to compete against NCAA Division I competition as they were invited to the Kansas State Wildcat Invite in Manhattan playing at Colbert Hills golf course. The Conquistadors would show they can compete against high-level competition as they finished tied for 10th as a team out of the 15-team field which was all NCAA DI teams outside of the Conqs.
