Roller skate this summer United Wireless Arena

Family-friendly rollingskating is returning to United Wireless Arena. Due to ice skating season and an extremely busy calendar in 2022 so far, there have not been many opportunities to open the arena for roller skating since the initial run in the fall of 2021, director of finance and administration at the arena Amanda Nufer said.

Miss Kansas 2022

Miss Kansas 2022 Ayanna Hensley is a Dodge City resident with Greensburg connections, a Rudd Scholar and 2022 Fort Hays State University graduate with a major in biology and a minor in creative writing. The Miss Kiowa County candidate is an accomplished athlete, student and a person of deep faith. But she didn’t come from a typical family background with a predestined penchant for success. She had to fight her way through childhood abuse, trauma and poverty. It’s something she is not ashamed to talk about, and something she feels has prepared her to be in the best position now, as Miss Kansas 2022, to reach out to others and lift them up through difficulties to be the best they can be.

Royals need to finally embrace their youth

Dodge City football program is set to begin a new era underway under the guidance of new Head Coach, Terry Karg as the 2022 schedule has been set. The Conquistadors will have a slate of 10 games for the 2022 season with six games at home and four on the road.

Youth Football: 8-Man All-Star games

In the Division 1 All-Star game June 11 in Beloit, the East side jumped out to a commanding 36-0 halftime lead, one that grew to as much as 42 points, before the West made an epic comeback effort. That comeback came up short, however, because the East was too much for the West in a 54-30 win.
