During Foster Care Month, we focus on the needs of vulnerable youth in Ford County May is Foster Care Appreciation Month, and Saint Francis Ministries celebrates those who offer support, stability, encouragement and love to youth who have been through things most of us can’t imagine. During this month, Saint Francis Ministries also looks at the tremendous need for foster parents across the country – and specifically in Ford County.

Wheat industry helps build awareness of rail shipping challenges

Fatal collision at Hodgeman/Ford County line

A head-on collision between two vehicles on 210 Road ended the life of one passenger May 16. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 6:45 p.m.
