Alberta graduated from Ford High School in Ford, KS on May 24,1950, and entered St Anthony Hospital School of Nursing in Dodge City, KS with a full scholarship.

Sneak peak into future Legacy Center exhibits

Now it its 91st year, the Ford County Historical Society has some fresh history from Ford County that collections manager Doug Austen said he looks forward to reconnecting people with. A nice little reference library is just the tip of the iceberg for the historical morsels the society unearthed from the basement of the Home of Stone, where it has stored items for many years.
