The Bucklin Red Aces baseball team faced Pratt Skyline on April 11 and picked up two wins. Bucklin took the game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over Skyline. Bucklin trailed 6-5 in the bottom of the eighth inning when JT Prusa doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Skyline scored four runs in the sixth inning, but Bucklin still managed to pull out the victory. Bucklin knotted the game up at five in the bottom of the seventh inning. Nathan Imel hit a solo homer. Bucklin five runs in the seventh inning. Prusa, Nate Bowman, and Imel all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. Bowman was on the pitcher’s mound for Bucklin. The lefthander allowed three hits and four runs over six innings, striking out 15. Bucklin launched three home runs on the day. Imel went yard in the seventh inning. Prusa went for the long ball in the seventh inning. Bowman had a long ball in the seventh inning. Bucklin racked up seven hits on the day. Prusa and Bowman each had multiple hits. Bowman and Prusa each collected two hits to lead Bucklin.
