Ford County commission given update on start of Highway 50 four-lane project

Ford County engineer Jon Halbgewachs gave his monthly report to the Ford County commissioners on Monday, March 7, where he discussed several projects including the Quaker Road drainage improvement project, Iron Star Wind Project and the Highway 50 construction between Dodge City and Cimarron.

DCCC: Baseball splits a four-game series at North Central Texas

For the third straight week, the Dodge City baseball team hit the road to travel to Texas to keep the season rolling along and came up with a four-game series split against North Central Texas. The Conquistadors fell 5-4 in game one of the series on Friday but responded to take the second game with a 10-5 win.

Chamber Hosts Coffee at Ford County RSVP

The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a coffee at the Ford County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program office on Tuesday, March 8. Former standouts to present game balls and awards

TOPEKA, Kan. – Throughout the 2021-22 school year the Kansas State High School Activities Association has been and will continue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX. Saturday, March 12, the KSHSAA will take another step to recognize those individuals who have shown us success and leadership in girls’ sports with their inclusion of the presentation of game balls and awards before and after the championship games.
