Eleven Red Demons qualify for state tournament

The Red Demon boys varsity wrestling team has traveled 3,746 miles this season, so when KSHSAA announced that the West 6A regional was being hosted at Topeka Washburn-Rural no one on the team batted an eye.

DCCC: Baseball goes 1-2 on Oklahoma road trip

Dodge City baseball traveled to Edmond, Oklahoma and played at the University of Central Oklahoma in a JUCO showcase facing off with three different JUCO programs over the weekend. The Conquistadors opened the weekend with a tough 1-0 win over Rose State but would fall on Sunday to Seminole State 11-2 in five innings and 4-2 in eight innings versus Coffeyville.

DCCC: Softball sweeps Howard for first wins of season

Dodge City softball picked up their first wins of the season with a doubleheader sweep of Howard on the road in Texas picking up a 12-7 and 8-5 victory. The wins move the Conquistadors to 2-4 on the season and came with a strong offensive showing as the Conqs scored 20 runs on 23 hits.
