Dodge City High School Red Demons send the Pioneers down wind

The Wichita West Pioneers came into the Friday- night game Sept. 2 at Memorial Stadium planning to execute its normal game plan and eventually outscore the Dodge City Red Demons. However, it was the Red Demons who wore down the Pioneers taking the fire out of them time and time again.

MEADE – On a hot sunny day, 133 total competitors took the course Sept. 1 in the Meade Cross Country Invitational. Due to the extreme heat conditions the meet was only two miles compared to the usual 3.1 miles.

Tax entities adopt Neighborhood Revitalization Plan

At a joint meeting Sept. 6 the Dodge City Commission, Ford County Commission, Dodge City USD 443 Board of Education and Dodge City Community College Board of Trustees each voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement to adopt the Neighborhood Revitalization Plan to encourage housing and commercial development in the neighborhood revitalization districts. The meeting took place in the USD 443 Administration Building.
