The life of Harry Thomas McCarty

Though he was a victim of violence in early Dodge City, he was never buried on Boot Hill. However, he did have his own pair of boots at the Boot Hill cemetery, but they went missing for decades.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Voters, I noticed an article shared in this newspaper on Tuesday, July 12th titled “Western Themed ‘Vote No’ campaign launches in Dodge City.” This article spurred me to address the lie shared in this article that states “the upcoming Kansas constitutional amendment seeks to virtually eliminate the right to abortion in the state-with no exceptions.” The Value Them Both amendment does no such thing. In fact the only act that this amendment would “eliminate” is the possibility of “government funded abortion.” Quoted directly from the amendment that you can find at www.valuethemboth.com under “The Amendment” tab.
