The A’s swept the RoughRiders in this three-game series thanks to a 11-1 victory July 14 to improve to 16-15 on the season. The game got off to a rough start for the A’s as the RoughtRiders took a 1-0 lead after a Home Run in the top of the first. The A’s would tie the game up in the bottom of the third thanks to Tyler Tobey as he grounded out, allowing his teammate to score. After this inning the A’s pulled away as they scored two runs in the fourth and two runs in the fifth to make the score 5-1.
