Dodge City A’s Baseball: A’s outhit the RoughRiders

The A’s offense was in full gear again July 13 as they beat the RoughRiders 14-4 and improved their record to 15-15 on the year. The A’s opened up in the first inning as they scored four runs, thanks to Carson Wright who singled in this inning and allowed the first run of the night to cross the plate.

Sublette High School’s Hernandez is a dual threat quarterback

Incoming Sublette High School senior Miguel Hernandez is ready to lead his football team to bigger and brighter accomplishments this fall. “I’m a dual threat quarterback who can make big things happen in big moments,” Hernandez said.

As this hot, dry summer drags on, homeowners are probably noticing grasshoppers are scavenging anything green. It doesn’t take long till they are full-grown adults.

4-H members from Clark

4-H members from Clark, Ford, Gray, Hodgeman, Lane, Ness and Rush counties attended 4-Clover Camp on the campus of Dodge City Community College, June 8 to 10. Designed for kids 7-10 years old, the three-day, two-night camp offered a variety of activities, including a community service project, which combined a campus trash pickup with a scavenger hunt.
