Author Wenzl offers reward for Mexican Village Fiesta banner

Tucked away in a closet there may be a banner that graced the stage of many Mexican fiestas over the years in Dodge City and local author Tim Wenzl is willing to shell out $100 from his own pocket for the privilege of displaying that banner in the Boot Hill Museum.

Garrett McGowan earned NCAA Division II Gold Glove at first base from the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings while also getting the nod for All-American honors from the ABCA and National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America.
