Mahomes, Chiefs beat Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Patrick Mahomes was magical when the Kansas City Chiefs desperately needed him to pull off another Super Bowl comeback. Playing on an injured ankle, Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and scrambled 26 yards on the go-ahead drive before Harrison Butker kicked a 27-yard field goal with 8 seconds left to give the Chiefs a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

Colby flies past Lady Demons 43-25

Colby was in control of the game from start to finish Friday, Feb. 10. Colby jumped to an 11-3 lead and the Lady Demons kept fighting all night but came up short, as Colby would pick up a 43-24 victory.

Colby’s basketball boys pull away from the Red Demons 44-39

Hunter Vaughn would lead Colby with 18 points to usher Colby past the Red Demons 44-39 at the Friday, Feb. 10 basketball game. The first half of the game was an epic battle between both teams as the Red Demons entered half time tied 18-18.

DCCC: Women’s basketball routes Hutchinson for 16th straight win

Dodge City women’s basketball rolled past Hutchinson on the road with a spectacular second half to win their 16th straight game, claiming the win 69-35. Conquistadors held a conference opponent to the lowest points output since November 15th, 2017 (won vs Pratt 44-34).

DCCC: Baseball competes in tough four-game series with New Mexico

Dodge City hit the road for the second straight weekend to continue the early portion the season and traveled to Hobbs, New Mexico to take on New Mexico Junior College for a four-game series. The Conquistadors would challenge a Thunderbirds ultimately falling 7-2 and 9-5 in games one and two of the series on Friday, and then on Saturday suffered a tough 7-6 loss in game three before finishing the series with a 15-14 win.
