Aistrup to retire After teaching agricultural welding at Dodge City High School for 22 years, Daniel Aistrup has decided to retire. He spent two years teaching at Hugoton and 12 years teaching at Hanston before spending a decade in business and industry.

Founder’s Weekend: three days of fun and excitement

The Dodge City 150th Anniversary Celebration Committee will be hosting Founder’s Weekend from June 17 through 19. These three days of fun and excitement will include a concert in Wright Park, a five-mile run, free admission and special shows/events at the Boot Hill Museum, and the unveiling and dedication of the Bat Masterson statue.
