Manna House shelter extends stay limit to 7 days

Manna House, located at 1012 1st Ave., in Dodge City will reopen its shelter doors May 2. Director Joel Redman is happy to announce shelter guests may stay up to one week, as needed.

DCCC Tech Hosts Career Fair

Dodge City Community College Tech hosted a Career Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 26. At the event, representatives from seven area employers were on hand to discuss career paths with DCCC tech students. Businesses participating in the fair included American Implement, Central Plains Equipment LLC, KanEquip Inc., Lewis Automotive Group, Seaboard Foods, Trivista Companies, and Truck Center Companies. DCCC: Men’s golf finishes fourth at district championships, qualify for nationals

The key to success is consistency and the Dodge City men’s golf team is a prime example of that, as they have successfully qualified for the NJCAA National Championship for the 32nd straight year. The Conquistadors put together a fourth-place team finish at the Central District/Region VI Championship tournament in Hastings, Neb.
